MCEF Celebrates 20TH Anniversary with Grand Opening
On June 1st, the Mississippi Construction Education Foundation (MCEF) opened the doors to its brand new career training center in Pearl.

MCEF  is a non-profit educational foundation that provides craft training and credentialing in more than 100 career and technical programs across the state. The foundation's mission is to train individuals for the construction and manufacturing industries in Mississippi.

Members Make Trip to Capitol to Talk Policy
During the 2017 NAHB Legislative Session, HBAM members and leadership traveled to Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. to meet with their representatives

While they visited, they discussed current issues within our industry  such as association provided health insurance and flood insurance.

This served as an important opportunity to put members of our industry in front of federal policy makers and as a reminder that the decisions made in Washington D.C, affect the bottom line in Mississippi.

We encourage members to take the opportunity to connect with their own legislators and communicate the issues that are important  to them. CLICK HERE to see NAHB's Key Issue Briefs.
