September is  202Creates  Month and we are excited to  showcase the District's diverse and vibrant creative economy! Mayor Muriel Bowser Presents 202Creates  connects the city's resources to District creatives through events and activities that build and enrich our communities across all 8 wards.

202Creates  offers DC residents the chance to be a part of a community of creatives looking to unmask just how prolific our city is in an array of creative industries! The Residency Program, Co-Working Day as well as the Photography and Podcast Studios are resources that the 202Creates initiative provides to help local creatives meet, work, and thrive under one roof. With nearly 60% of the District's workers employed in the creative industry, it is important to evince DC as one of the most creative cities in the United States.

We had an amazing night at the 202Creates Opening Night Kick-off at City Winery DC and the Labor Day Weekend Music Festival. Thank you all for showing up and showing love! The excitement continues all month long. Help us celebrate the screening of "Straight Crankin': A Go-Go Documentary",  DC Radio 96.3HD4's One Year Anniversary, H St Festival, the Mayor's Arts Awards, the 202Creates Closing Event, and so much more in the coming weeks!

As we celebrate our city's innovators,  we invite you to connect with  us! Visit www.202Creates.com for events and more information about the creative movement happening in all 8 Wards.
