A Capitol Year for Charters!

2019 is going to be an incredible year for the Nevada Charter School Community. Besides another CSAN regional Meeting coming up on  Jan. 15th in Las Vegas , Public Charter School Leaders from around the state will be gathering in the Carson City at the State Capitol on  Feb. 27th & 28th for “Charter Schools at the Capitol”  events, including:

* Charter School Displays in the Foyer of the Legislative Building
* Sitting on the Floor of Senate & Assembly with your reps
* Individual meetings with Nevada lawmakers
* Testimony before Education Committees
* Workshop training with TeachPlus
* CSAN Dinner Program with lawmakers and you
* CSAN Reception with Legislators and Key Allies

Please make plans for yourself, your principals,
your students, your board members, and your parents to attend. 

This is a huge opportunity for public charters schools in Nevada to tell our incredible story!

As with any kind of prediction, predicting next year’s enrollment is not easy. Perhaps now more than ever, given how many options parents and students have. 

But while predicting the future is always challenging, it is possible to set achievable, as well as stretch, goals for enrollment, and increase the number of applications. In other words, to not just survive, but also thrive.
