Transportation Leadership Cohort One Almost at the Finish Line!

Congratulations to those members of the TLP Cohort One who have completed the project requirements of the program and will be honored at the graduation ceremony in October. Several of the cohort members have presented the results of their final projects to a group of their peers. We are very proud of them and look forward to the remaining members of their cohort presenting the results of their work in September. Applications to participate in Cohort 3 of the Transportation Leadership Program can be found by clicking here.

Do You Know Your Retro?

Our very first class in the new T2 Safety Academy-  Sign Retroreflectometer Training was held in Colchester on July 15th. Participants learned how to set up and take measurements with a retroreflectometer and retrieve useful data from it. The program is designed for Public Works, Engineering and Police Department personnel responsible for sign installation and maintenance. We still have seats available in our July 30th class for those interested in signing up! Keep an eye on the T2 training calendar for more offerings in the Safety Academy.

T2 Goes to St. Louis!

Program Director Donna Shea, Training Specialist Mary McCarthy and Safety Circuit Rider Tony Lorenzetti just got home from St. Louis, where they attended the 2014 National LTAP/TTAP Conference. Donna presented on Safety Circuit Rider Programs, while Mary presented on the most popular programs we offer in Connecticut. All are excited about the valuable information they learned from their colleagues and brought home new information and ideas!
