Greetings Shooters!
I hope this email finds you gearing up for the 2024 FTA Spring Championship, held at Jacksonville Clay Target Sports on Saturday May 25th and Sunday May 26th! Here is some of the action you can expect:
· Over $4000 in cash and trophies!
· JCTS will be open for FTA members to practice on Friday May 24th. You will need to present your ATA card to get the discounted target rates.
· JCTS’s onsite gunsmith, Kelsey, with Premiere Gunsmith, will be available during the tournament. She can be reached at 904-410-2206 for your gunsmithing needs.
· “To Be Frank” will be onsite Saturday from 10:00AM to 2:00PM serving their full menu (and possibly Sunday if sales are high enough). Please see the attached menu!
· Greg Pink, owner of the shoot management software SOS Clays, will be onsite assisting us with our tournament and demonstrating his software for anyone who is interested in using it in the future!
· Scots Goofy Games! See VP Scot Lauderback to enter.
o A Miss-n-Out style shoot will take place after shoot-offs on Saturday that will include over $500 in guaranteed prize money.
o There will be a special event on Sundays Handicap Championship that will be auctioned immediately after the conclusion of the Doubles Championship.
· Paid event entries will automatically enter you into door prize raffles!
· Raffle tickets will be available for purchase for a case of AA shells donated by White Flyer, and a JCTS Softshell Jacket donated by JCTS!
· Team Races! Please see Alberta Brooks to enter.
As a reminder:
· The Board of Directors meeting will come to order at 8:15AM on Saturday May 25th in the clubhouse. We will try to efficiently navigate the agenda so we can get to shooting!
· Shooter registration will be open between 7:45 and 8:00.
· It will be the Squad Leaders responsibility to return the score sheet to the registration desk immediately after their squad completes the event.
