Neurofibromatosis: Chloe's Story


Chloe, who was diagnosed with NF1 at age 2, was at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida, when she realized the hospital stay would mean missing her senior prom. When nurses heard how the stay would interfere, they sprang into action.

Neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) diagnosis fuels nurse educator’s passion for goal concordant care


Tori McClosky’s senior year of high school turned upside down when a tumor was found on her brain. The cause was NF1. In the 20 years since then, McClosky has become a nurse and patient at MD Anderson and her experience has fueled her passion for patient care.

2nd Annual SketchNF Auction Now Open!


SketchNF is dedicated to raising funds and creating a network for pediatric NF patients one sketch at a time. Their mission is to empower children with NF by allowing them to share their stories and hopes through the form of art. Join us for the 2nd annual auction now!

Timothy Gross, who has been running for the last seven years despite his hearing loss due to neurofibromatosis, led a charity race to raise awareness for NF this month.
