Farm Workers in Virginia need our help!

Did you know?

Currently, farm workers are exempted from Virginia’s minimum wage.  In the recent General Assembly, a bill passed to raise the minimum wage as of next January, but efforts to remove the farm worker exemption failed.

We are trying to get the Governor to amend the minimum wage bill to remove the exemption on farm workers, thereby allowing farm workers to receive at least the Virginia minimum wage.  The Governor has until April 11 to amend the bill, but we'd like you to sign TODAY.

Those of us who work with migrant farm workers know how hard they work. They certainly deserve to be paid at least the minimum wage.
