We’re proud to spotlight Mary Adegbesan, co-chair of NGCP’s Youth Advisory Board, for her recent TEDx talk on reimagining access to technology education. In her powerful talk, Mary explores the growing digital divide and why coding should be seen not just as a technical skill—but as a creative, empowering tool that every young person deserves access to. She shares the inspiration behind her project, Coding Unplugged, a hands-on book designed to teach programming without internet access, and challenges us all to rethink educational equity.
Watch her inspiring talk and see how Mary is using her voice to shape a more inclusive future in STEM.
