This renewed effort connects organizations across the state committed to expanding girls’ participation in STEM and inspiring the next generation of female STEM leaders. STEM Next is excited to announce the 77 young people selected for the 2025 Flight Crew, the largest cohort yet!
These young leaders will participate in leadership development, public speaking, and social media training throughout the year to hone their skills as youth ambassadors. As representatives of their states, they’ll promote the power of out-of-school time STEM by sharing their stories locally and nationally — spreading the message that STEM is everywhere and for everyone.

The Congressional App Challenge is now live and open for student registrations!
Students are invited to submit original apps they have built over the past school year. The Challenge encourages creativity, technical skills, and the use of technology to solve real-world problems. Each participating Member of Congress will host a local competition and select a winning app from their district. Learn more.
