The National Grand Prix Championship (NGPC), formerly known as the Big6 GP Series, is the West Coast's premier off-road racing series. Founded in 1995, six original AMA District 37 clubs formed a regional grand prix series that instantly became a hit amongst SoCal locals. It has since morphed into the now 10-round AMA National Championship, produced by those same six AMA District 37 clubs, along with two others. Grand Prix racing has quickly grown into one of the most popular forms of off-road racing for both amateur and pro racers alike. The appealing GP races give riders plenty of seat time throughout the weekend and offers a wide variety of terrain and race tracks throughout the year.
