Maynard Homes Redevelopment Underway in Nashua



Maynard Homes Redevelopment Phase I is underway in Nashua, replacing 70 aging public housing apartments with 179 new homes in partnership with the Nashua Housing and Redevelopment Authority and Tremont Developers. Current residents will receive individualized relocation support and a range of housing options, with safety and dignity as top priorities. When complete, the new community will include one- to four-bedroom apartments for households earning up to 60% of AMI, along with on-site amenities like a community room, clubhouse, and playground.

NH Housing has released a new factsheet highlighting the role of manufactured housing in NH. With more than 28,000 residents living in manufactured homes and a median monthly cost of $866 compared to $1,423 in rent, this resource explores affordability, zoning realities, and common misconceptions.

From Voucher to Front Door


NH Housing operates one of the largest Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) homeownership programs in the country, helping families turn rental assistance into a path to owning a home. With counseling, Family Self-Sufficiency support, and access to downpayment assistance and mortgage products, voucher holders are building long-term stability. To date, 352 households have become homeowners, with 119 families currently supported statewide.

New Resource for Voucher Holders


A new Housing Choice Voucher Program education course is now available to help voucher holders better understand how the program works — to finding housing and pathways to homeownership. This self-paced online module offers clear, practical guidance.
