This E-Newsletter specifically outlines statewide collaborative efforts to provide information and resources on the Pyramid Model.

In this issue of the NH Pyramid Model Collaborative E-News, we share updates on NH's Preschool Technical Assistance Network (PTAN), Pyramid Model trainings through ProSolutions, the NCPMI Resource Library, the new NH Pyramid Model Affiliate web page on the Pyramid Model Consortium website, GSQ updates from the Bureau of Child Development Head Start Collaboration, and resources for Family Engagement.

Exciting News from the Preschool Technical Assistance Network

PTAN Celebrates its 30th Anniversary! 2022 marks the thirtieth year of the Preschool Technical Assistance Network (PTAN), a grant-funded project that provides professional development services statewide. As it has every year for the past twenty-nine, PTAN continues to evolve to meet the priorities of its funders and the needs of NH early childhood education teachers and administrators.  Two big changes are happening this year. First, PTAN is now affiliated with the Pyramid Model Consortium. This affiliation offers us a new fiscal agent and access to many resources and opportunities to better support NH early care and education programs. The second change is the award of a new contract from the NH DHHS Bureau of Child Development and Head Start Collaboration. Click below to read more about the changes at PTAN. There are several modules available to meet your needs. Begin learning about the Pyramid Model with "Building Positive Social Emotional Skills for All Children: Introducing the Pyramid Model Framework." Refresh your knowledge with the Pyramid Infant Toddler, Preschool, or Birth through Five Modules. Extend your knowledge by taking the Trauma-Informed Care & The Pyramid Model, Pyramid - Reducing Implicit Bias, or Pyramid - Wellness: Taking Care of Yourself modules. New Hampshire has a Pyramid Model Affiliate Web Page on the Pyramid Model Consortium Website! The Pyramid Model Consortium (PMC) promotes equity and inclusion through the dissemination, sustainability, scale-up and high-fidelity use of the Pyramid Model for Promoting Social Emotional Competence in Infants and Young Children. The PMC created an opportunity to host webpages for PM states and NH now has an affiliate page on the PMC website. The NH State Leadership Team's Communication/PR Workgroup worked with the Pyramid Model Consortium to design a page that provides ready access to all things Pyramid Model in NH. NCPMI Resource Library All providers love finding tips and tools that support their children's social and emotional development and prevent challenging behavior. The NCPMI (National Center for Pyramid Model Innovations) Resource Library is full of resources designed to help children learn about their feelings, develop their friendship skills, increase their anger and impulse control, and more! One example is the social story: "What do we do in circle?" which supports young children as they learn the expectations, rules, and routine of circle time. Click Here to Access the Resource Library

Pyramid Model Family Resources

The New Hampshire Pyramid Model Affiliate Webpage on the Pyramid Model Consortium website has a wealth of resources to support Family Engagement in your program. From Pyramid Model (PM) Information Cards, to webinars, to an iSocial Communicating with Families Guide, New Hampshire has developed many tools to help you promote the Pyramid Model practices with families.
