Pyramid Model Training Resource

|
Thanks to a collaborative funding effort* in 2020, the Infant Toddler, Preschool and Birth-5 ePyramid Model Module Packages became available to the NH early childhood community on ProSolutions. ProSolutions is a learning management platform and is connected to the NH Connections Information System. In March 2021, three new Packages became available: Trauma-informed, Implicit Bias and Wellness. Finally, in July 2021, a one hour introduction on the PM was released: "Building Positive Social Emotional Skills for All Children: Introducing the Pyramid Model Framework." You can join the thousands of practitioners who have taken ePyramid Courses by clicking on the photo or accessing it below.
|
*Free access to these modules is available for 5 years due to a collaborative effort between the Pyramid Model Consortium, the NH Department of Education, Bureau of Special Education Support and the NH Department of Health and Human Services, Bureau of Child Development and Head Start Collaboration.

Are you an Implementation site? Have you been taking the ePyramid Model Module Packages? Are you looking for free Pyramid Model resources for your program or classroom? Look no further than the National Center for Pyramid Model Innovations (NCPMI) Resource Library! There are various resource types such as handouts and visual supports for different audiences such as families, coaches, and state leaders and many of the resources have been translated into different languages. The photo illustrates one of the recently revised scripted stories teaching children how to be a Super Friend!

LAUNCH Manchester is growing!
Amoskeag Health (LAUNCH’s lead agency), in partnership with The Upper Room (family resource center in Derry), serves as the lead entity for NH Early Childhood Region 4. They have received funding through the Preschool Development Grant to sustain and expand the Pyramid Model work throughout the region! Support for LAUNCH’s Early Learning Collaborative (ELC) for Greater Manchester continues.

Exploring the Pyramid Model Framework
iSocial, in collaboration with the Pyramid Model State Leadership Team, has developed a 3-part virtual series called: Exploring the Pyramid Model Framework Virtual Work Series. This series is designed for child care, school district and private preschool programs to learn more about the Pyramid Model Framework (PMF). This multi-part series is intended to be an entry point for those interested in exploring the PMF. It provides information, tools and resources to support exploration and to determine if it is a good fit for a program considering implementation. Being “ready to implement” the PMF may take additional time and support but this Exploration Series is a good “starting off” point.

Focus on Families
With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, now is a lovely time to be teaching and learning about feelings. We can show love to everyone and everything around us by looking out for what each person or thing needs to be happy and healthy. By modeling and intentionally teaching loving actions (not just saying the words “I love you”) we teach embodying the virtue.
