Free Registration is Open at NAMIWalksNH.org!
NAMIWalks New Hampshire, the Granite State’s largest mental health awareness and suicide prevention event, returns on Sunday, October 6th to the Soccer Fields on S. Fruit Street in Concord. All funds raised stay in New Hampshire to provide free support, education, and advocacy for over 50,000 Granite Staters affected by mental illness and suicide.
Last year, over 1,500 participants across 137 teams joined us to raise awareness, crush stigma, and inspire hope. Whether you join us in-person or as a virtual Walker, you are part of an important movement that lets folks know they are not alone. Hope and help are available – and when you participate in NAMIWalks NH, you share that message far and wide.
Registration for NAMIWalks NH is free online at NAMIWalksNH.org. Participants raising $100 or more will receive a t-shirt on event day. In addition to the 5K route, a shorter 1-mile route is also available. NAMIWalks NH features a Kid Zone with a bounce house, climbing wall, face painting, and more. Snacks are generously provided by Hannaford Supermarkets, The Crust and Crumb Baking Co., and other area businesses. All activities are family-friendly, dog-friendly, and free!
NAMI New Hampshire Executive Director Susan Stearns said, “Every day at NAMI NH, we see stakeholders working together to implement meaningful systems change; advocates coming forward to share their deeply painful and personal stories; and most of all, folks talking about mental health, opening the door to raw and honest conversations that are key to dispelling stigma and discrimination. NAMIWalks NH is a way our community can come together, start a conversation about mental health, and share a message of help and hope.”
Sponsorship opportunities are available starting at $250. To learn more, contact Kristen Welch, CFRE, Director of Development, at kwelch@NAMINH.org or 603-225-5359 x350.
