NHBSR PROGRAMS

Psychological Safety at Work

(2-Part Webinar)

The Richards Group's Ross Gibson and Shannon Prescott present the first of a two-part series. In these sessions, they will dive deeper and look at the most critical factor in employee engagement, better-performing teams, and increased retention rates: Psychological Safety & Wellness. Participants will be given practical tools.

In Part One, we define what is Psychological Safety and its core relationship to employee engagement and overall employee wellbeing. We will look at some examples of where the lack of psychological safety has had dramatic (and tragic) results. We will ‘meet’ Dr. Amy Edmondson, a Harvard Business School researcher who has done ground-breaking work on creating ‘fearless’ organizations.

In Part Two, we will detail the six key take-away skills that can be refined and honed to improve the level of Psychological Safety in each workplace. These include:

  • Leading by example
  • Engaging employees
  • Empathic listening
  • Developing people
  • Empowering others
  • Recognizing contributions

2-Part Series:

2/9/2023 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
