Library Updates and
Community Resources
April 2020
|
|
A collection of community resources at NHFPL and beyond.
|
|
In this time of uncertainty, we will hope to continue to provide valuable access to all our community members on information and resources available from the New Haven Free Public Library (NHFPL) and the New Haven community.
The first priority of the NHFPL is to protect the health, safety, and well-being of our staff, our library users, and our community. As NHFPL locations are currently closed, we thank you for your understanding as we join the effort to keep our community safe. We will continue to update our plan and our communications as we have further information.
For assistance, please call the Library and leave a message at (203) 946-8130 x101 or email at
[email protected]
.
We will answer your message as promptly as possible, and we thank you for your patience as we monitor both email and voicemails remotely.

Don't Let Them Count You Out!
Complete the 2020 Census Today
Participation in the 2020 Census remains critically important for access to health care and other resources in New Haven. The U.S. Census counts the country’s population and households. It determines voting districts and the number of congressional seats, and guides the distribution of more than $675 billion in federal funding every year. New Haven receives around $3,000 per person counted to support vital civic and community programs!
