You Helped Us Raise Nearly $5,000 on Giving Tuesday. Help Us Raise $5,000 More and Reach Our Goal This Holiday Season.
On Giving Tuesday, you helped us prove that our communities will not be erased when we come together. On December 2, you helped NHMA raise $4,515, breaking all previous single-day donation records, directly impacting NHMA's programs and initiatives. However, the continued efforts to suppress Hispanic and Latino progress worsen by the week.
NHMA continues to advocate for our communities, but we still need your help. Following the success of our Giving Tuesday fundraising drive, we have extended the deadline and are asking for your help to reach our Holiday fundraising goal of $10,000.
Visit the NHMA Alliance website and complete your donation before 2026. Juntos, podemos más.

NHMA's Statement on Recent ACIP Recommendations
NHMA is strongly concerned with the recent Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices’ (ACIP) decision to recommend delaying the first dose of the hepatitis B vaccine.
This radical departure from more than 30 years of sound public health guidance endangers our children, particularly in Latino and other underserved communities. It also undermines decades of progress in preventing chronic diseases, such as liver disease, cancer and death.

NHMA Obesity Resources for Providers
Obesity is one of the most urgent and costly health challenges in the U.S. One in four Latino adults has obesity, compared to one in six non-Hispanic Whites, and Latina women have the highest rates nationwide. Latino adults are also more likely to develop diabetes, heart disease and certain weight-related cancers.
Visit NHMA's obesity page to learn more about obesity, counterfeit drugs and what physicians and patients need to know to combat this potentially deadly disease. This page includes downloadable provider resources and infographics meant for sharing with your practice or staff.
