Meet Kelley Frederick!
Kelley grew up in Kentucky and Iowa and graduated from Iowa State University with degrees in psychology and social work as well as a certificate in Healthcare Administration. She moved to Colorado in 2003. Kelley has worked in the healthcare industry for over 30 years with roles ranging from social worker to community outreach to administration. She was drawn to the industry initially by a desire to serve the aging population as she feels they are underserved/ undervalued by our society.
Kelley now lives in the mountains of Larimer County with her husband Greg, and two dogs. She and Greg love to explore the Roosevelt National Forest by hiking and 'Jeeping' with their dogs just about every weekend... all year around! Kelley also enjoys going to live music; whether it is at their local hot spot in Red Feather Lakes, The Mishawaka, or other venues across Fort Collins and Cheyenne.
Kelley enjoys working as a care coordinator with NHP because it allows her to build meaningful connections while supporting individuals in navigating their needs. She especially values working with adults and connecting them to behavioral health and community resources. Kelley says "empowering people to advocate for themselves and build lasting support systems" is what really matters to her.
Fun Fact: Kelley and her husband Greg eloped in Rocky Mountain Park in January of 2014 when it was only 18 degrees and blowing snow at Sprague Lake. She says, "needless to say it was just us, the officiant and the photographer and no one else."
