NHP Staff Highlight:

Child & Youth Systems of Care Manager

Meet Hannah Wurster

Hannah grew up in Wisconsin and gradually moved west - to Minnesota for her undergraduate degree and then to Colorado for graduate school. She obtained her master's in Marriage and Family Therapy and doctorate in Applied Developmental Science from CSU, specializing in attachment, childhood trauma, and prevention science. Following graduate school, Hannah worked in nonprofit and community mental health settings, combining direct clinical practice with program development and systems-building. She landed at NHP in March and is thrilled to have found a home here, where she is working to expand Region 2's continuum of care for child and youth behavioral health.

Hannah lives in Fort Collins with her husband, toddler son, and two cats. She loves running, spending time outdoors, birding, reading, and travel.

Fun fact! Hannah has run 3 ultramarathons and argues that nothing tastes better than a grilled cheese at hour 12 of a16-hour run.
