NHSBA Announcement
Remote/Virtual Board Meetings to End

Dear NHSBA Members -
Earlier today, Governor Sununu announced that the Emergency Order allowing for remote/virtual public meetings will expire on Friday June 11th. This means that school boards will have to resume in-person meetings with the same requirements as before the pandemic.
Please note that school boards will still be allowed to provide virtual access to public meetings, if the board so chooses. Likewise, school board members with health concerns are still able to attend the meeting via electronic means, consistent with RSA 91-A:2, III.
Consistent with the above, school boards and sub- or advisory committees which meet the definition of "public body" under the Right to Know Law, should assure that all meetings held after June 11 fully comply with RSA 91-A:2. This may require posting amended notices if the original meeting notice indicated the board/committee would be meeting remotely.
