Delivered in 40 states and territories, ensuring a consistent, fair licensing standard.

National Database

A central repository for licensure data, supporting out-of-state verification and cross-jurisdiction mobility.

Exam Certificate Program

Candidates who pass NIC exams may request official certification at www.nictesting.org.

Test Administration

NIC provides the exam content; approved vendors administer it via computer-based, paper, remote, or hands-on formats.

Annual membership runs July 1 – June 30 and must be renewed to maintain benefits.
