Hot Meal Grants Available for Students
In our continued efforts to fight hunger and food insecurity, NOVA is now offering grants that will allow access to hot, healthy meals while on campus.

Affordable access to food and hot, nutritious meals helps students focus, get better grades, and maintain good physical and mental health. You will receive these funds on your NOVACard, which can be used to purchase food at the following campus dining locations during the summer term*:

  • Surefire Café at Annandale (CF Building first floor): 10:00am-2:00pm Monday–Thursday

  • ACE Market at MEC (Second floor lounge): 24/7 self-checkout kiosk

  • Barnes & Noble Café (AN, AL, MA, MEC)

You can apply for the grants here: Hot Meals Grant for NOVA Students. *If you receive a meal grant and do not have a dining location open on your campus during the summer, your funds will still be available on your NOVACard in the fall semester.

For more information, contact the Financial Stability and Advocacy program at financialstability@nvcc.edu.
