VIRGINIA BEACH – As construction continues on the I-64/I-264 Interchange Improvements Project, contractor crews with the Virginia Department of Transportation will implement nightly lane closures on northbound Witchduck Road at the I-264 overpass to allow crews to safely perform work on that structure.
The alternating, single-lane closures will begin as early as Monday, March 29, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday through Saturday, for approximately four weeks.
On- and off-ramps in this location will remain open.
Motorists should stay alert and be mindful of crews working alongside the roadway. This work is weather-dependent and subject to change.
