Leadership Skills for Women in Aerospace and Aviation Online Course April 17-May 31, 2022 Register today! Virtual Space Biosciences Training Course

2022 Virtual Space Biosciences Training Course: STAR (Spaceflight Technologies, Application, and Research) - Call for Applications - NOI Due 05/30/2022* September 2022 - February 2023 (Virtually with sessions held bi-monthly for two hours each) NASA invites applications for the STAR training course focused on the science and technology behind biological experiments in space. STAR is designed to encourage networking and collaborations in spaceflight technologies, applications, and research. This course aims to facilitate the entry of researchers into space biology and preparation for spaceflight experiments using NASA and commercial platforms. The STAR course will cover both fundamental and applied aspects of the field of space biology, as well as practical aspects of preparing for, conducting, and analyzing the results of spaceflight experiments. *Submitting a STAR application does not guarantee course availability. NASA does not award funding for course participation nor otherwise pay for the information solicited. Applicants who are accepted will be notified via NSPIRES on or after June 20, 2022. Declined applicants will also be notified.

Research.gov Now Required for NSF Proposals

Many National Science Foundation (NSF) program solicitations now require the use of Research.gov for the preparation and submission of proposals. Please be advised that NSF will now start requiring the use of Research.gov for the preparation and submission of proposals in response to program descriptions. As a reminder, FastLane is targeted to be removed as a submission option from all funding opportunities when the Proposal and Award Policies and Procedures Guide (PAPPG) goes into effect in January 2023. Grants.gov will remain a submission option for most NSF proposals.   NSF strongly encourages proposers to prepare and submit all supported proposals in Research.gov now, to facilitate a smooth transition from FastLane proposal preparation to Research.gov over the next several months.
