Your donations to the Thanksgiving Food Drive enabled us to provide baskets to twenty families, and we have enough left over to provide them with meal baskets for the upcoming holidays, as well!  You're the best!

Special thanks to our volunteers who baked turkeys for the children's holiday feast, donated baked goods, and/or worked at our fundraising events, all of which were an astounding success because of you!

We are also very appreciative of those of you who selected an ornament from our Giving Tree to purchase gifts for NIS families in need.  Please make sure to attach the tag you selected from the tree on your gift and leave it unwrapped.  The deadline to submit your gifts is December 12th.  Thanks again for helping ensure no child goes without a gift this holiday season.

We'd also like to take this opportunity to thank all of our generous donors.  Through your participation in our school's various fundraisers, we've been able to begin implementing new programs and expand upon existing programs to ensure the children and families at NIS are provided with every opportunity possible to ensure optimal social, physical and academic development.  Please don't forget to participate in our year-end appeal if you are able.  Your generosity is greatly appreciated!

NIS adapted our feeding program from the DOR model from Ellyn Satter.  It helps children build on their natural abilities to become competent eaters. Every child is different and may require individual adaptations. Click here for more information.  Please contact your Speech Therapist with any questions.
