Your donations to the Thanksgiving Food Drive enabled us to provide baskets to twenty families, and we have enough left over to provide them with meal baskets for the upcoming holidays, as well!  You're the best!

Special thanks to our volunteers who baked turkeys for the children's holiday feast, which was an astounding success because of you!

We are also very appreciative of those of you who selected an ornament from our Giving Tree to purchase gifts for NIS families in need.  Please make sure to attach the tag you selected from the tree on your gift and leave it unwrapped.  The deadline to submit your gifts is December 12th.  There are still many ornaments left, so please take one in the lobby if you haven't yet done so and would like to help a family in need.  Thanks again for helping ensure no child goes without a gift this holiday season.

Thank you to those of you who participated in Bryan Karp's charity challenge.  We are proud to report that NIS was selected as a winner and was awarded with a $1,500 check.  Special thanks to Bryan Karp for his continued dedication to helping NIS and other worthy charities in the community.

There is a similar charity challenge you can help us win by clicking on Ridgewood Bank's Facebook page and voting for the New Interdisciplinary School.  Click the image below and then look for that post to vote!

We are excited to announce that your artwork keepsakes will be coming home this week! If any volunteers are available to help sort gifts on 12/3, please contact Susan Cali. Thank you for your orders.  Thank you also for ordering from Parklane Jewelry, and to Vanessa's mom, Katherine Gabriele, for hosting this fundraiser.

We'd also like to take this opportunity to thank all of our generous donors.  Through your participation in our school's various fundraisers, we've been able to begin implementing new programs and expand upon existing programs to ensure the children and families at NIS are provided with every opportunity possible to ensure optimal social, physical and academic development.  Please don't forget to donate on Giving Tuesday if you are able.  Your generosity is greatly appreciated!

NIS adapted our feeding program from the DOR model from Ellyn Satter.  It helps children build on their natural abilities to become competent eaters. Every child is different and may require individual adaptations. Click here for more information.  Please contact your Speech Therapist with any questions.
