WINTER TIME SPEECH FUN 

 

Building a snowman is a fun sequencing activity filled with lots of great vocabulary and concepts for your preschooler and the whole family.  Start by telling your child the steps ahead of time and then again while building it.  Collect the items you will need and then show them to your child.

CONGRATS TO OUR PET PALS TEAM
Our research in the utilization of animals in occupational therapy is gaining publicity! 
 NIS was selected to submit a poster for presentation  at the social hour of the Human-Animal Interaction section of Division 17 of the American Psychological Association.  The title of the poster is, " Assessing the Impact of Animal-Assisted Occupational Therapy on Attention in Preschoolers"  by Katrina Winsor, Jay Silverstein, and Arth Naik.  Go Pet Pals!
