Welcome to the 2020-21 school year! The children are off to a great start and are adjusting wonderfully. This is the first issue of our parent newsletter. Each issue will be e-mailed to you, and posted on our website for your convenience. This is one of the many ways we will be communicating with you this year.

Health Screening Reminder
All parents at this point should have submitted a health attestation. Please remember that by signing that attestation, you agreed to conduct daily health screenings of your children and abide by the health regulations put in place to ensure the safety of the children, staff and families at NIS. Please take a moment to review the health policies and procedures.

The New Interdisciplinary School is an innovative early childhood learning center that respects the unique needs of all children and their families. Our commitment is to provide therapeutic and educational services in a nurturing environment with the highest standard of expertise. While we receive funding from NYS to provide education and therapy and Suffolk County to provide busing, we rely on fundraising to provide all of the unique programs and services that make our school the wonderful place it is.
