Winding down after a long day at school can be tough! Here are some activities and videos to help make mindfulness a part of your routine at home.

Letter Writing With Ms. Jill

Happy 100th Day of School!
Move like a frog, a penguin and a kangaroo! This is a short animation that young children will love copying. Each exercise helps to develop strength, coordination and cardiovascular fitness. Kids have lots of fun with this and will enjoy it even more if you join in. You will be suprised at how tiring it can be! You can also use this as a chance to talk about the ways different animals move! -From Movelee

Keep practicing the Core Word of the Week.

Here is a printout, a story and a song you can share with your child to reinforce this word at home.

Thank you so much to all of our recent generous donors, especially the Stevens Family for putting together an artwork sale and donating all of the proceeds to NIS, totaling $5,800 and Paul Ditman for collecting nearly $1,500 in honor of his Bar Mitzvah. We are also so grateful for those of you who continue to purchase items off of our Amazon Wish List and hold Facebook fundraisers. Every donation makes a big difference.
Join us in congratulating Bella Muccio, pictured above, on earning her Girl Scout silver award! Bella led her younger sister's class (Red I) in virtual activities via Zoom, made dozens of themed sensory boxes for our students, and held a toy drive to donate toys for our classrooms. We are so grateful for Bella's hard work!
