Our Pasta Night fundraiser was a tremendous success due to your support! Special thanks to The Knights of Columbus #12993, St. Joseph the Worker, Medford Pastaria, Cafe Gia, Tony's Pizza, La Margherita, and Brook House Pizza and Grill for their pasta donations, and to all of the generous volunteers, donors and sponsors who made this night possible. We loved seeing our returning families and staff and celebrating with our current NIS families.

Thanks to those of you that donated treats for our in-school safe trick or  treating on Halloween, and to those of you that volunteered on Picture Day!  We couldn't do all of the wonderful things we do without you!

Our PT Staff hopes you had a
Happy PT Month!

Special Thanks to the volunteers who have generously volunteered to purchase and roast turkeys for the children's Thanksgiving Feast.  You can help NIS families in need by donating food, too!  Information will be forthcoming.

You can make playing in the leaves a learning experience!

Please help us ensure that no student in our school goes without a holiday gift this year by selecting an ornament from our Giving Tree with a gift wish from one our families in need.  The tree will be on display in our lobby this month through mid-December.  If you have a current student at NIS you feel may benefit from this program due to financial difficulties, please contact Tara Buonagura at ext. 506.
We're excited to report we've been selected to be a participating non-profit organization in the Stop & Shop Giving Tag program.  You can go to any Stop and Shop store at  any time   throughout the year, purchase a $2.50 Community Bag and use the attached Giving Tag to direct a $1 donation to the New Interdisciplinary School within 7 days of your purchase. You can find the Community Bag with the Giving Tag on the reusable bag rack at the store. If you cannot locate one, just ask a sales associate to help you.  If each of you bought just one bag, NIS would have over $1,000 in donations.  Please consider buying a bag next time you are at Stop & Shop.  Thank You!

We love walking around  and seeing so many people showing spirit!  Visit our online store today at - THANK YOU!

Shop at PARK LANE JEWELRY this holiday season using  THIS LINK and NIS will receive 50% OF ALL THE PROFITS. This online catalog features Park Lane's best sellers.  Buy them as gifts or spoil yourself while helping a great cause.  Thank You!

Save the Date!  This year, #GivingTuesday is on December 3rd!  As many of you know, #GivingTuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration.  Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.  Join the #unselfie movement.  Donate to NIS  at  and then post an #unselfie on social media telling people why you gave to NIS and include the hashtag #givingtuesday.  It's a fun way to give back!

Don't forget to shop at this holiday season!  Just choose the New Interdisciplinary School as your charity of choice, and NIS receives a donation for every purchase you make!  Prices are the same as Amazon - the only difference is you making a difference. Thanks!
