NISOD LIAISON SPOTLIGHT

Jessica Granger

Lone Star College System

Since 2020, Jessica Granger, Director of Organizational Development, has served as the NISOD Liaison for Lone Star College System. She says one of her favorite NISOD benefits is the NISOD Excellence Awards. "A lot of times, recognition gets overlooked because we have other things that we need to do. We have a checklist that we need to do, other goals that we need to move on. But we have to take that time to recognize the amazing accomplishments that our employees and colleagues are doing across our system."

Her guiding principle in her work is to "choose joy. By focusing on what brings happiness, we can create a positive mindset that drives learning and helps us achieve amazing things."

The NISOD Liaison Spotlight series highlights the invaluable contributions of NISOD Liaisons who foster connections between their community colleges and NISOD by sharing their stories and experiences.
