EXCELLENCE AWARDS

Celebrate Excellence at Your College

There is a little over a month remaining to submit names of Excellence Award recipients for your college. NISOD Excellence Awards honor educators, staff, and leaders who go above and beyond to support student success and academic excellence. Don’t miss the opportunity to celebrate your colleagues' achievements. Submissions are open until March 7, 2025.

Submission Form

All submissions must be approved by the college CEO prior to submission. If someone other than you will be responsible for coordinating submissions, please forward this information to that individual.

STUDENT CONTESTS

Students from NISOD member colleges and your staff have the opportunity to win $1,000 and a trip to Austin, Texas! Learn more about the contest requirements and download a flyer to share with your students for the Student Essay Contest and the Student Graphic Design Contest. The submission deadline for both contests is March 7, 2025.

Student Essay Contest

Students describe in a 500-word (or less) essay a faculty member, staff member, or administrator who encouraged them to complete a course, finish a semester, or graduate from college and how that encouragement helped them reach their goal(s). Learn more.

Student Graphic Design Contest
