The NISOD Excellence Awards honor educators, staff, and leaders who go above and beyond to support student success and academic excellence.

The deadline is one month away! Click this link to submit your college's award recipients by February 6, 2026.

Don’t miss the opportunity to celebrate your colleagues' achievements! See examples here of how other colleges select their recipients.

All submissions must be approved by the college President or CEO prior to submission. If someone other than you will be responsible for coordinating submissions, please forward this information to that individual.

Print Flyers to Share with Important Student Centers at your Campus

Students enrolled at NISOD member colleges and CCCSE participating colleges are invited to participate in our Student Essay Contest and Student Graphic Design Contest. Information is available by clicking on the buttons below—including prizes, eligibility requirements, deadlines, and flyers to download and promote the contest at your institution.

The submission deadline for both contests is March 6, 2026.

NISOD’s 48th Annual Conference: Advancing Community College Student Engagement (ACCSE) is dedicated to inspiring educators in higher education!

Make plans to join your peers May 23-26, 2026 at the J.W. Marriott Hotel in vibrant Austin Texas. Connect, learn, and grow alongside community and technical college faculty, administrators, and staff from across the nation and beyond. Attendees can expect dynamic sessions, hands-on workshops, and powerful keynote addresses, all focused on enhancing student success and advancing teaching and leadership skills.
