The NJ ACTS Community Scientist Program creates partnerships between community partners interested in being involved in research, and researchers looking to partner with the community in their research.

 

It's designed to educate people about the ethics and responsible conduct in community-engaged research, as well as provide opportunities for networking with researchers and other community scientists.

 

No prior involvement in research is required.

Horizon Healthy Communities Grant Program


The Horizon Foundation for New Jersey has teamed up with the New Jersey Center for Nonprofits to create a special grant program designed to empower and uplift local projects dedicated to physical and mental health.


Horizon Healthy Communities Grant Program is supporting small, start-up, or newly established health focused nonprofits in New Jersey. The foundation will award 20 grants of $5,000 each for general operating support or to assist nonprofit organizations as they build their capacity and scale programs.
