Dr. Guiling “Grace” Wang has joined the NJ ACTS Community as the NJIT Liaison. In this role, she serves as a key link between the three NJ ACTS academic institutions. She will also serve as co-lead of the Pilot Program and as liaison for individuals seeking to access NJIT educational and training resources through the Workforce Development Core. She is assuming the responsibilities previously filled by Reggie Caudill, PhD.

Dr. Wang is currently a Professor of Computer Science and the Associate Dean for Research of The Ying Wu College of Computing at New Jersey Institute of Technology. She also holds a joint appointment at the Martin Tuchman School of Management at NJIT.

Her research in applied deep learning, AI, blockchain technologies, and mobile computing has been highly recognized in the field and cited for over 4900 times by research articles according to Google Scholar. She has successfully completed multiple NSF funded projects as the PI and other funded projects as co-PI. She is currently leading a FHWA EAR project as the PI, which is one of the 4 funded projects out of 122 proposals.
