Dr. Michelle Gonzalez, Ph.D
Dr. Michelle Gonzalez, has over 20 years of working as a special education teacher and professor. Prior to her faculty position at William Paterson University in the Educational Leadership and Professional Studies department, she was an early childhood special education teacher in New Jersey, where she taught students with reading and language disabilities. Dr. Gonzalez’s expertise is in literacy instruction for at-risk and students with disabilities. Dr. Gonzalez has published and presented widely on Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and technology integration in the early childhood classroom, best practices in literacy instruction, and the dyslexia knowledge and awareness of in-service educators.
