Through the grant-funded initiative, WP is enhancing climate resilience while creating outdoor learning spaces, including a new nut orchard. The University has subsequently been recognized as a Tree Campus by the Arbor Day Foundation.

Named in honor of the late Herb Jackson, a communication professor and advisor to the student newspaper from 1973 until his death in 1990, the 'Herb Jackson Center for Journalism—Home of The Beacon' is located on the second floor of The Atrium.

More than 100 children of faculty and staff participated in a full day of activities across campus, blending hands-on learning, career exploration, and community-building.

There are students who reach their last year or semester at WP and find they simply can’t afford those last few courses. This campus event, taking place on the first Sunday in May every year, directly supports a fund that helps students complete the "last mile" to their degree.

On view through Mary 8, the exhibition showcases drawing, illustration, painting, photography, sculpture, textiles, animation, and graphic design. It was juried by art faculty members Myles Dunigan, Eileen Foti, Ashley Gerst, and James Lee. Gallery hours are Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
