FOR 27 YEARS, NJAASC HAS BEEN THE FULL TIME/FULL SERVICE STATE ORGANIZATION FOR ALL NEW JERSEY ASCs

NJAASC hopes that you will help us in our efforts to further the ASC industry in New Jersey. Over 150 ASCs and 30 vendors have already joined us. We ask that you do the same, and become a member.

DO YOU HAVE ANY INTEREST IN:

Government Affairs
NJAASC recently was able to thwart a plan tied to the Budget that would have removed the cap from the Ambulatory Assessment, and included one rooms in said assessment. As part of a larger coalition of over twenty health care organizations and societies in New Jersey, we are always ready to defend the ASC industry- and your center and business.

Benchmarking
We completed our first survey for SSI, and are currently conducting one specific to GI. We will have new surveys and new topics every two-three months so that member centers can benchmark specific to New Jersey.

Out-of-Network Law
NJAASC has been at the table with NJDOH and NJDOBI regarding this law. We have sent our response and suggestions to both as regards the interim standard disclosure forms. We have also made known our concerns regarding mandatory website, and posting of standard charges. We will continue to have input into the on-going development and interpretation of this law.

Up to date access to, and information from NJDOH
NJAASC has an excellent working relationship with NJDOH, and has unprecedented access that no-one else has, through the people and firms that we employ. We hold exclusive quarterly meetings with NJDOH to discuss issues that affect us. In addition, NJDOH is a regular speaker at our quarterly membership meetings and our annual event.

One Room Law
NJAASC along with Legislative leaders wrote this law and fought to get it passed. As such, we are the ‘go to’ organization for anything- One Room. We continue to have discussion with NJDOH regarding their interpretation of this law, and how it impacts one room centers. NJAASC has scheduled a special sit-down meeting with Licensure and Survey at NJDOH to try to iron out the issues and differences we find occurring.

Educational events and instruction
NJAASC has held special educational events and webinars in 2019 for the benefit of our membership. Our latest endeavor is our  FIRST ANNUAL INFECTION CONTROL CONFERENCE . In addition, our quarterly membership meetings feature timely and relevant topics for the benefit and education of our members.

IF YOU SAID YES TO ANY OF THE ABOVE, THEN YOU NEED TO BECOME A MEMBER OF NJAASC!
