Governor John Kasich served two terms as Governor of Ohio, where he demonstrated a commitment to the intellectual and developmental disability community. He was also a leading voice in promoting bipartisan solutions to health care reform, immigration, and international trade. He has been one of the few Republicans to advocate for Medicaid’s expansion. Governor Kasich is the author of four New York Times best-sellers and in 2023, joined MSNBC/NBC News as a Political Analyst, where he has continually demonstrated his belief that unity is the answer to most common problems.
