Presented by Ferdinando Palumbo, MSW, LCSW
Scrupulosity OCD typically involves intrusive thoughts, images, and doubts related to their moral and religious beliefs. Obsessive and compulsive behaviors, internal or external, are aimed at reducing distress by atoning for wrongdoing or checking if they had behaved in an offensive manner. This presentation seeks to raise awareness about scrupulosity OCD and to learn about the different treatment options available.
March 21 at 7 p.m.
Our panel of adults in their 30s with TS will discuss methods we can use to explain what our TS is and what it means to us.
Academy Applications Are Due THIS MONTH
The Tim Howard Leadership Academy may be in August, but the application must be turned in by the end of March. We are in the process of setting up telephone interviews with participants. If you have any questions, or need an extenstion, please email the Academy director at admissions@njcts.org.
ON THE TEEN BLOG: How TS Has Affected Me in Dance
"My dance teacher always says, “No fidgeting.” He will often not turn on the music until each dancer is standing perfectly straight, still, in position, and ready to go. As someone with Tourette’s Syndrome, this can be difficult for me. "
