What a thrilling night it was at the NJCTS 20th Anniversary Gala! More than 170 members of our community gathered at the Bridgewater Marriott on Thursday, October 17, to celebrate a remarkable journey together. Thank you to all that came out and those that supported, donated, and bid.

Family Summit Planned for January

The 2025 NJCTS Family Summit will take place at the Environmental Education Center in Basking Ridge on Saturday, January 25 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Families with children ages 10 to 17 can attend for a day of targeted programming for parents and kids. Lunch included with registration. New families are welcome!

Education Outreach Update

Youth Advocate Reina presented an introduction to Tourette Syndrome to approximately 230 eighth grade students at Dover Middle School! And at the end of her presentation, she was courageously joined by student Aiden!


There was also a special guest in attendance, Senator Anthony M. Bucco! Thank you for attending and your continuing support of NJCTS.

NJCTS is planning exciting programming throughout the month.

Today’s Challenge, Tomorrow’s Strength: A Support Group for Parents of Children with Tourette


Our parent support group will return in January!

Tourette Talk: Flexible Minds: Cognitive Strategies for Overcoming Rigid Self-Expectations, Shoulds, and Musts

November 11 at 7 p.m.


Not all of our beliefs are helpful toward achieving our goals. Rigid attachment to expectations, demands of ourselves, and demands of others are often the source of significant frustration, guilt, shame, and sadness. Join us as we discuss a philosophy of living rooted in flexibility, resiliency, and letting go of “should,” “must,” and “have-to” beliefs.

Community Connections for Adults with TS

November 18 at 7 p.m. (Virtual)


Join us for a Community Connections online "hang out" for those 21+. Here you can comfortably discuss your experiences, share advice, and build relationships with those who understand your unique challenges.


MASTERMINDS - Essential Connections: Navigating a Path to College Success

November 20 at 7 p.m.


Making the leap from high school to college is an exciting yet challenging transition. With newfound independence, unfamiliar routines, and potentially new living arrangements, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. Important 2025 Dates Announced

Scholarship Deadline


The 2025 NJCTS College Scholarship application is available online. All forms must be submitted by March 10.

Camp FantasTIC


The early bird special to register for 2025 camp is February 15. Camp will take place June 20 - 22.

Leadership Academy


The Tim Howard Leadership Academy will be from July 31 to August 3. The application will go live in December!
