Oaks and Acorns
(for children ages 3 to 5 with an adult)
Wednesdays from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm
This fall we will celebrate New Jersey and learn about all the things that make this state great! From the state bird, through to the state insect, each class will focus on a different state symbol and include a nature walk, story, and a one-of-a-kind art project. Registration is required.

Reeves-Reed Arboretum is excited to partner with the Morris County School of Glass to offer several programs together!
Part 1: Mosaics
on Saturday, November 2 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm This fun and easy class will explore color, texture and design to create a totally unique flower pot. Learn techniques for cutting and shaping colored sheet glass while the instructor covers the history, design and terminology of this ancient art.
Part 2: Pot Planting
on Saturday, November 16 from 10:00 am to 11:30 am
Now that you have your beautiful flower pot, it's time to get dirty and plant it up at Reeves-Reed Arboretum. Learn about different types of plants and what will work best in your home. Select from a variety of plants to create a unique in-home masterpiece.

These mini-camps, offered during the NJEA convention, provide children with an opportunity to spend time outside exploring and learning in a fun and exciting way! Through games, crafts, stories and hikes children will learn all about animals' special features and behaviors. Cookies & Cocoa with Santa

Drop by Reeves-Reed Arboretum for Cookies & Cocoa and have your picture taken with Santa in the Arboretum's beautifully decorated, historic Wisner House. Holiday portraits will be taken by local photographer Lisa Berkery.

Cyrille Aimée in Concert
with Vodka & Latkes

Reeves-Reed Arboretum welcomes the extraordinary Cyrille Aimée in a concert that is sure to turn up the heat on any frosty holiday evening.
Immediately following Cyrille's performance, the Arboretum will offer a tasting of ice cold vodkas, brought to you by the Jersey Spirits Distilling Company, and a sampling of a holiday indulgence, potato latkes, provided by David Ellis Events - a truly festive treat that will be sure to keep the most diehard Scrooge's spirits bright.
