Using the Elder Index in New Jersey

Last week we held the third and final webinar in our Policy Webinar Series. The topic was Elder Economic Security and we were joined by Jan Mutchler from the Gerontology Institute and Dennis McGowan from the NJ Division of Aging Services. A recording of the webinar can be seen on our YouTube channel- click here to access.

Elder Economic Security is part of NJFA's history and guides our advocacy work. That is why we are happy to continue working with the Division of Aging Services and the Gerontology Institute (GI). Last week, GI posted a story to their Institute Blog about how NJFA (and other partners) have used the Elder Index data to show the need for public programs and supports.
