Stacey Shor Named Next CEO of JCFS Chicago
Jewish Child and Family Service of Chicago
is delighted to announce the appointment of current chief operating officer Stacey Shor to serve as the next President and Chief Executive Officer. Stacey will formally begin in her new role on July 1st, and will begin working through the transition process with current President and CEO Howard Sitron in early Spring. Throughout her tenure at JCFS, Stacey has consistently assumed broad responsibility for the agency’s well being and more than met each challenge and opportunity she has faced. This includes her appointment as the Chief Operating Officer, leading a highly successful capital project, reorganization of the organizational structure to better reflect intended impact, and representing the agency with various local and national stakeholders. The Network is thrilled to extend its best wishes to Stacey.

Avi Rose Announces Retirement
After fifteen years as Executive Director of
Jewish Family & Community Services East Bay
, Avi Rose will retire at the end of September 2020. Avi is proud of the work JFCS East Bay has accomplished including increasing visibility, being more impactful, and more far-reaching than ever before, due those behind the scenes. Vital Services for Holocaust Survivors Group
The Claims Conference is launching a new initiative for the community. A platform for those who care, advocate, or provide support and vital services for Holocaust Survivors. The Claims Conference’s Caring for Holocaust Survivors’ group in Yammer, Microsoft Office’s social media platform, will be a place for agencies to exchange ideas, provide support to one another, and share resources. It will also allow the Claims Conference to highlight programs, share information, poll, and connect with agencies in a way that they have not been able to before.
