Dr. Azzariti joins incumbents Senator Holly Schepisi and Assemblyman Robert Auth in NJ’s 39th Legislative District.

Dr. Azzariti is an active Board member and Past-President of NJSSA, and serves as the ASA Alternate Director. He is currently the Associate Director for the Department of Anesthesiology at The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, New Jersey. He has advocated extensively at the state and federal level for over a decade on patient safety, scope of practice, surprise medical billing and COVID-19 related physician protections, along with many other issues important to healthcare providers and the profession.

We are excited to have a physician anesthesiologist, especially Dr. John Azzariti, in the NJ Legislature as he will be incredibly valuable in discussions and considering legislation surrounding physician-led care, patient safety and several other important issues our profession faces.
