August Mission of the Month - Operation Classroom In the month of August, your gifts will be used to support Operation Classroom, a hands-on mission in West Africa for United Methodists. Date of Special Offering: August 5, 2018 ______________________________ 
Promotion Sunday/Teacher Appreciation *Sunday, August 12th is Promotion Sunday in both services. *Children will be promoted to their new Children's Church Class and Sunday School Class. *Children entering third grade will also be presented with a Bible. *Teachers will be recognized. *Everyone is invited to witness this time of celebration! |

LITTLE LIGHTS PRESCHOOL
It doesn't seem possible that I started Little Lights Preschool 25 years ago. Many wonderful children have passed through our doors. I am looking forward to the 2018-19 school year. It will start on Monday, August 13 for the 4/5 year-old M/W/F classes. Classes will start for the 3 year-old T/TH classes on Tuesday, August 14.
We are looking forward to a great school
year with plenty of learning activities and experiences.
Our day includes Play Time, Calendar Time, Bible Story
Time, Learning Time, Puzzle Time, Snack Time, &
Story Time. The students take turns bringing in snacks
and being the leader. As the leader they get to "paint"
at the easel, call the students to line up to use the bathroom,
say the prayers, pass out napkins, etc. They LOVE to be the
leader.
I am really looking forward to greeting all of my new students
and returning students! I know this is going to be a year
filled with new experiences that God has in store for us!
