FROM THE PASTOR...

I have access to a Methodist Hymnal that is dated 1939. One of the items included in this book are detailed orders of worship. It is interesting to see how our worship has changed and evolved in the past 90 years or so. One of the aspects that especially stands out is after the sermon there is an "Invitation to Christian Discipleship." The Invitation to Christian discipleship is actually part of the Methodist order of worship that has been there since the beginning and it was part of the order of worship that John Wesley himself used with the Methodist societies.

In the month of March, your donations will be sent to the United Methodist Committee on Relief, which aids in ministries of food, shelter, health and peace.

LENTEN FOLDERS

Lenten folders are in the Narthex. If you would like to participate, please fill your folder and place in the offering plate on Easter Sunday or bring to the church office. Thank you.

Little Lights Preschool

Spring is happening this month and our preschoolers are ready for warm weather. We will do interesting activities related to Spring.

We will continue to have Show & Tell. This month the objects will begin with the letters K,L,M,N,O,P, Q, and R.

The MWF class will learn that God wants us to get along with others through Bible stories about Joseph and his brothers. The T/Th class will learn that God wants us to obey Him through the Bible story about Jonah and the whale.

We will have Spring Break March 30-April 3. We are hoping for some great Spring-like weather!

All elementary aged kids (K-6th grade) are invited to our Super Sunday Parties! These monthly parties are just for kids, and each month will have a different fun theme. The March theme will be Minecraft and will be at the church on March 29th from 6:00-7:00 p.m.
