The 2026-2027 NJWLA Board of Directors was sworn in on July 14th by the Honorable Jessica S. Allen, U.S.M.J., D.N.J. (also a revered NJWLA past president). We are honored to have Judge Allen preside over our events and to have many other prior leaders maintain their involvement in, and provide their guidance to, current NJWLA leadership. The Installation Dinner at Stella in Roseland, NJ was attended by more than 70 Board members and past Presidents joining together to plan for the upcoming term.

Abigail Remore of CSG Law will lead the organization as its President for the next year. In addition to welcoming new officers and directors and thanking past leaders, Abby’s installation speech focused on her two primary goals for the year: first, continuing to strengthen NJWLA's feeling of community and support, and building a culture of welcoming and inclusion for all members of all backgrounds and walks of life; and second, advancing the mission of the organization with purpose, energy, accountability, efficiency, mutual respect, and integrity. During this term, NJWLA will continue to celebrate the 20th anniversary of its revitalization and work to expand its reach in furtherance of its proud and important mission - to advance and retain women of all backgrounds in the legal profession, provide a voice for its members about issues of importance to women, educate the community about gender equity concerns, and support the professional and personal development of its members.

Congratulations to NJWLA's 2026-2027 Board of Directors
