The American Rescue Plan includes billions of dollars spread across more than 30 programs that impact homelessness, including Emergency Housing Vouchers, State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds, and Home Investment Partnerships. This once-in-a-generation funding can be used to expand affordable housing and to support a wide range of community-based efforts to rehouse people experiencing homelessness.

About USICH: The U.S. Interagency Council on Homelessness is the only federal agency solely dedicated to preventing and ending homelessness. It consists of leaders from each of our 19 member agencies, including Housing and Urban Development, Health and Human Services, Veterans Affairs, Labor, and Education.
