Re: NLTA Building Protocol for Visitors

This is to advise that, effective as of Friday, October 29, 2021, any visitor(s) requiring access to the NLTA building at 3 Kenmount Road, St. John's, must show proof of vaccination to enter. As per Public Health guidance, vaccination status can be provided in either of the following ways:
  • electronic NLVaxPass vaccination record QR code;
  • paper copy of NLVaxPass vaccination record QR code;
  • paper or electronic copy of official vaccination record issued in Newfoundland and Labrador;
  • paper or electronic copy of official vaccination record issued outside of Newfoundland and Labrador; or,
  • documentation of proof that an individual has received an approved medical exemption from a physician or nurse practitioner.
Visitors must also show a government issued photo ID, such as a driver’s licence or passport.

The NLTA is making the safety of all who enter the building a priority, and continues to encourage those requiring in-person service to make an appointment in advance and maintain physical distancing. The wearing of non-medical masks is required and if you are unwell, please do not enter the building. Virtual and telephone meetings are available for individuals who are not in St. John’s and/or are unable to meet one of the proof of vaccination, or exemption, requirements noted above.

If you require additional information, please contact call 709-726-3223 or 1-800-563-3599 or email mail@nlta.nl.ca.

Thank you for your continued understanding.
